On 6 August, the unveiling ceremony for Venturous Future Industry Innovation Center, as well as the signing ceremony for Advéco and Anktech move-in, was held in Wuxi National High-tech District (WND), Jiangsu. The event was attended by Rongguo Cui, Party secretary of Xinwu, along with district leaders Guodong Gu, Xu Ji and Xiaohong Zhu, as well as Benson Tam, Founder and CEO of Venturous Group, Allan Tsay, Chairman of Advéco and General Manager of Advantech China’s Industrial IoT Business Group, and William Wang, Chairman of Anktech.

Event Highlights

Venturous Group focuses on Smart City technology, covering areas such as carbon peaking and carbon neutrality, Smart Buildings, Smart Computing and Smart City Management. Since 2020, Venturous Group has been deeply involved in the WND, establishing a fund with a total scale of USD$200 million, and has successfully introduced several future industry projects. In 2021, WND designated Venturous’ Beijing Office as the "Wuxi National High-tech District (Beijing) Innovation Centre", marking the beginning of a deep partnership. To attract more future industry technology projects, the newly established Venturous Future Industry Innovation Centre in WND will leverage Venturous’ international resources to form a dual synergy, further supporting the layout and development of future industries in the WND. Before the event, Rongguo Cui visited the exhibition halls of Advéco and Anktech, the companies moving into the innovation centre.

Advéco's main business focuses on building intelligent control products, offering comprehensive smart space solutions that include Smart Buildings, Smart Energy and AIoT. Anktech is a pioneering leader in global CVI spatial data collection and digital applied technology, with a fully independent and original intellectual property system.

Benson Tam expressed his gratitude for the recognition and support that Venturous has received from WND. He stated that, like other high-quality enterprises that have settled in the WND, Venturous has benefited from the excellent market environment, business environment, preferential policies and capital opportunities offered here, achieving a win-win situation. Looking forward, Venturous is committed to working with WND to create a new model of industrial recruitment, building a prototype of a new infrastructure with the characteristics of future industries.

In recent years, WND has been actively exploring a new model of "industrial fund + capital investment", striving to construct a new concept of "one industry, one fund" and "one park, one fund." As the capital "reservoir" grows larger, the "High-tech Financial Valley" becomes stronger, having over 500 funds accumulated, reaching a registered scale of over CNY100 billion, providing precise support and services for the transformation and upgrading of key industrial clusters. In 2023, the five strategic emerging industries in the district — IoT and digital economy, integrated circuits, biomedicine, intelligent equipment and new energy — all surpassed the CNY100 billion mark. In the future, WND will continue to uphold the service philosophy of "no difficulty is insurmountable, every effort will be made", and will remain unwavering in providing the most robust support, the highest quality services, and the most comprehensive protection for enterprises developing in the WND.
